The skin is one of the organs that most visibly reflects the aging process, which is aggravated and accelerated by our lifestyles, habits, stress levels and environmental conditions. To keep our skin looking healthy and youthful, we must stimulate protein regeneration and protect it from excessive oxidation.

Aging is an inevitable natural physiological process, but we have found a way to slow it down by reducing the oxidation of the proteome (skin proteins).

Skin regeneration is the new anti-aging and the basis of skin longevity, from the age of 27. All our products contain Centella Asiatica extracts, the "secret to skin longevity", in different forms and concentrations.

This patented C27 ingredient is an exclusive, clinically proven complex that concentrates the very essence of the plant's most active purified extracts, [Asiaticoside, Madecassoside and Asiatic acid].

These are combined in higher ratios and concentrations, which are not naturally found in the plant. Different concentration levels were tested before defining the exact perfect ratios that revealed the regenerative and restorative power of the complex.

The CICA-MA2® complex underwent extensive testing on skin aging at a laboratory specializing in proteome research. Ex-vivo tests demonstrated the extraordinarily positive effect of the CICA-MA2® complex on this process, slowing down proteome carboxylation (oxidation). The skin proteome corresponds to all skin proteins such as collagens, keratins and laminins. These are known as biomarkers of aging.

The complex also had a significant effect on the regeneration of these biomarkers of skin aging. Among these biomarkers of aging that we studied, the most revealing of the complex's activity are
Collagen XVII and Keratin 14.

Collagen XVII : A fundamental skin protein. Controls and regulates cell proliferation in the epidermis by intervening in the competition between skin stem cells. It is therefore considered to be the skin's longevity protein.

Keratin 14 : Plays a fundamental role in regulating epidermal renewal. This mechanism allows us to maintain an effective skin barrier, thereby promoting skin longevity.

Centella Asiatica is an ancient medicinal plant used in Ayurvedic and other South Asian medicines. It is recognized for its regenerative properties and as the “plant of longevity”.

The plant used in C27 formulas comes exclusively from Madagascar, as it has a higher concentration of purified active ingredients (heterosides).

It is also cultivated by hand according to the climate and seasons. The Centella “economy” contributes to the income of local populations (eco-commerce), making it a sustainable source, in line with the company's values.
